The Montgomery Elementary PTO is a close-knit school community of amazing students, staff, and families in Brookhaven, Georgia.  From important resources to volunteer opportunities to school supply lists to new parent FAQs, our website will provide the resources you need to navigate our school.

The PTO is FREE to join, but families must renew membership each year to ensure we keep information current!

The Montgomery Elementary PTO is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that enables our school to provide programs and supplies beyond those available through the county to support our teachers, enrich student experiences, and foster a stronger school community. From cultural events to campus upgrades, learn how your support powered meaningful change for every student, teacher, and family last year.

Membership in the Montgomery PTO offers plenty of benefits, all of which our volunteers make possible at no cost to our school:

Lunch Buddies

When you volunteer as a Lunch Buddy, you’re giving our wonderful teachers a relaxing and well-deserved lunch break. Nearly every day of the school year we need four parents to volunteer at least one hour of their time in their cafeteria. Just 1+ time per year between 10 AM–12 PM makes a big difference! Lunch Buddy duties includehelping students open packages & navigate the cafeteria, ensuring safety and positive behavior, light cleaning (wiping tables, tidying up), and being a friendly presence in the lunchroom.

MES Fall Festival - October 25th

Join us for the annual Montgomery Elementary Fall Festival, Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 3:30-7pm. MES families and community members can enjoy a haunted house, magic show, baby animals, balloon twister, arts & crafts, games, food trucks, marketplace vendors, and much more! 

Purchase PTO Member Tickets — Online Price = $10 per child (ages 3+)

Purchase Non-Member/Community Tickets — Online Price = $11 per child (ages 3+)

Tickets purchased at the door = $15 per child

All adults and children under 3 are free! 

Interested in being a festival vendor? Montgomery Elementary School invites community members, families, and friends to apply as vendors for this year's outdoor family fun event. Space is limited, so please apply early to secure your spot!

🎉 WE DID IT, MONTGOMERY! 🎉 Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Mustang Supporters, we didn't just meet our 2025 Mustang Annual Fund Fall Campaign goal—we surpassed it, raising a grand total of $107,714!

The Mustang Annual Fund provides the annual budget for the Montgomery Elementary School PTO, which funds critical resources and enhancements not covered by the school’s operating budget from the county. Every dollar we raised will directly impact our students and teachers throughout the year, funding essential programs, classroom supplies, technology upgrades, staff development, and so many other programs that make MES exceptional.
