Montgomery Elementary is in the heart of Brookhaven, and our 700+ kids/400+ families anchor the community, supporting local businesses year-round. Sponsoring the Montgomery PTO is a great way to help your local elementary school and put your business at the forefront of the minds of our community, including teaching staff and the leadership team.
The support from local businesses is essential for enriching the school community and our scholars' learning experience. With previous sponsorship support, the Mustang Fund built a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) lab in the school that maintains leading technology and provides hands-on experiences to students daily. Our students and teachers at Montgomery have dedicated a tremendous amount of effort and time toward the STEM/STEAM certification and ongoing training. The school continually trains staff, adding additional programs, and focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. They realize that to stay competitive, these areas of expertise will be crucial for our kids to thrive in the future.
Training and maintenance of this certification and all of the other educational advancements at Montgomery depend on the support of our local community. One area that is looked at when reviewing a school's application is small business and corporate support. This requires parent and business involvement outside of all efforts going on inside the school.
